To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook zip dip using 6 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Zip Dip:
  1. Make ready 1 quart Hellmans mayonnaise
  2. Prepare 2 lb velveeta cheese
  3. Take 2 medium yellow onions, finely chopped
  4. Take 13 oz jalapenos, sliced or chopped
  5. Take 1 pod garlic
  6. Take 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions to make Zip Dip:
  1. Let cheese stand at room temperature until very soft.
  2. In a food processor, mix jalapenos with juice, garlic cloves and onions.
  3. Slowly in small portions add cheese to mixture and blend on low speed until smooth.
  4. Add mayonnaise and cayenne pepper, mix only until blended. Do not over mix; dip will be thin. Add salt & pepper to taste.

  6. Note: Do not use the "light" ingredients or the dip will be too thin and runny. It's a dip so it's not meant to be healthy! LOL!
