  2. Make ready 1 cup sooji/rava

  6. Take 1 pinch Cardamom powder
  7. Prepare 1 tsp kewra water
  8. Get 1/4 cup ghee
  9. Take 10-15 saffron strands
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp almond flakes for garnishing
Instructions to make Badami Sooji Burfi:
  1. Coarsely grind almonds and keep aside.
  2. Heat ghee in a non -stick pan,add suji and roast on low flame till a sweet aroma comes out.It will take about 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile boil milk in a sauce pan for 5 minutes,add milk powder.Mix.Add saffron strands and further boil for 5 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes,add milk to suji and also add sugar.Give a quick stir to suji-milk mix.Stir well.
  5. Add almond powder,mix well.Cook on low flame for 6-8minutes.Now ghee is separated from the mix.At this stage add kewra water and put off the flame.
  6. Grease a tray,transfer suji mixture to the tray..Garnish suji with almond flakes and keep the tray infridge for2 hours.
  7. After 2 hours,cut burfee in tour desired shape.Badami suji barfee is ready to serve.
