- Take 1 can apple pie filling

- Let the frozen pie shell sit out and come to room temp
- Set something up with apple juice and apple wood chip set at 250
- Smoke room temp pie shell for 10 mins to set some of the moisture out of it
- Add pie fill to pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg
- Roll out the ready pie shell and cut in strips
- Take strips and place on top of pie filling
- Smoke pie for 2 hrs on 250
- Notes- I cheated and got a frozen pie, cooked it in my oven for half the cook time, then smoked it the rest of the way (I didn’t want it to be frozen when smoking it…)
