The ingredients needed to make Badami Sheer:
- Take 1 litter milk
- Make ready 200 grm khoya
- Make ready 1/4 cup rice + ½ cup water
- Make ready 1/4 cup Poppyseed + ¼ cup water
- Get 1/4 cup kaju + ½ cup water
- Prepare 1/2 cup chopped Almonds
- Get 1/2 cup sugar
- Prepare 1 tbls kewra water
- Get Almonds for garnish
Steps to make Badami Sheer:
- Soak rice in water, soak kaju in water as and soak Poppyseed in water. Soaked all for 30 Minutes.
- Take a heavy gauge wok and add milk in it. Cook at medium low flame for 15 Minutes then add soked rice and cook for 10 Minutes.
- Grind Soaked kaju and Poppyseed to make a paste then add in milk. Cook them all for 15 Minutes at low flame.
- Now add sugar, kewra water and khoya in milk and mix well. Keep stirring. When it's thicken then turn off the flame and pour in serving bowls. I m using Matti ke brtan.
- Garnish Badami sheer with Almonds and serve. (Hot & cold in both ways).
