  2. Make ready 2-3 green chillies

  6. Make ready 1/2 tsp roasted/baked chana dal
  7. Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
  8. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds,
  9. Take 1 byedgi chilli
  10. Get 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  11. Take 2 tbspn grated coconut
  12. Prepare 2 tsp + 2 tsp coconut/any vegetable oil
  13. Get as per taste Pink salt

Bhindi Tofu Masala aka okra tofu stir-fry is a vegan and gluten-free spicy side dish which is I was in a dilemma while preparing for this stir-fry. First, because I have never added tofu to bhindi before. Add the green chilies and fry for a minute. Add the tomatoes and turmeric powder and mix well.

Instructions to make Bhindi stir fry:
  1. Wash, clean the okras, wipe and pat dry them.(remove the head and the tail and chopped by 1inch.
  2. Heat a wok, add 2tsp oil and add the chopped okras to it and saute till becomes soft and remove it in a plate.
  3. In the same wok, add oil, mustard seeds, let it splutter, cumin, asafoetida, green chillies, chana dal, urad dal,curry leaves, byedgi chilli and saute till dal becomes light brown
  4. Add the sauteed bhindi, stir add salt cook for 1-2mins more. Switch off the flame,add lime juice and grated coconut.mix well
  5. Okra/bhindi is ready to serve wdh phulka,or as a side dish to any meal.
