Instructions to make Cream Jamun Mithai:
  1. In a bowl mix semolina with 2 table spoon of water & keep it aside for 10 minutes. in another bowl, mix milk powder, flour & baking powder. now add pinch of salt, food colour & soaked semolina in it now slowly pour the liquid milk, mix it well & make a dough of it. Dough should be a bit sticky & should not be very hard, you can add more milk in order to make proper consistency of the dough. cover this mixture for 5 minutes.
  2. Now apply some clarified butter in your palms,take small portion of dough in hand & make it in the shape of the sweet/kothai as shown in the picture..
  3. Ensure that there are no cracks in sweets made.if there are cracks,the awet might break while frying…
  4. Now in the gas,take oil in a pan,heat it well.in the warm oil,drop the sweets & deep fry them.flip the side of the sweets within 2 minutes of frying…After 4-5 minutes the sweets will puffed up,fry them up to 12/13 minutes till the perfect colour appears& then take it off from the stove..
  5. To make the sugar syrup,take a pain the gas stove,put 2 cups of water,1 cup of sugar,2 cardamoms,2 cinnamon sticks in it..When it starts to boil,add the fried sweets & cook it in low flame.take it off from the stove after 10 mins & take off the lid after it cools..
  6. To make the cream,take another pan in the gas stove,add one cup of milk powder,1 table spoon of liquid milk,1 table spoon of clarified butter & stir it properly..
  7. Take it off from the stove when the mixture thickens..-now split the sweets from the middle & stuff it with the cream made. Stuff all the sweets like this & your delicious cream jamun mithai/ sweet is ready to serve!
