The ingredients needed to make Fried Rice:
  1. Prepare 3 cups long grain rice
  2. Take Chicken
  3. Get Green peas
  4. Make ready Green beans
  5. Prepare Carrot

  7. Prepare Tumeric/ curry
  8. Take Thyme
  9. Make ready Ginger paste
  10. Get Vegetable oil
  11. Prepare Scotch bonnet

Steps to make Fried Rice:
  1. In a pot, add ur chicken with onions and other seasonings. Boil for 25 mins or till soft. Remove meat from pot, fry and set aside
  2. Chop ur veggies and set aside. Perboil rice for 5- 7 mins. Rinse, sieve and set aside.
  3. In a non stick pan, heat up the butter, add some of the onions and stir for a minute. Add a little chicken stock or water, add ur chopped veggies and cover to cook for 3- 5 mins until soft and water dries up
  4. In a big pot, add some oil, add the remaining onions and fry for a minute, add the pepper, stir fry and pour in the remaining chicken stock. Cover to boil
  5. Low heat or remove the pot from heat, add in ur parboiled rice, and stir together. The water should be be on the same level with the rice,add little salt and seasoning and cover to cook on medium heat
  6. After few mins, check for taste and adjust as desired. When it's almost dried up, reduce to low heat so it won't burn.
  7. When it's done, serve with ur chicken.
