- Take a wok or pan, add oil, heat it.
- Add onion, sauté it till translucent.
- Add bhindi now, stir fry it for a while.
- Add ginger garlic paste & salt, stir fry it for a while.
- Now add haldi & dhania powder, stir it for a while.
- Add chilli flakes, give a stir.
- Now add saunf powder, stir fry it for a while.
- Till now all cooking is done at high flame.
- Now lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it till bhindi becomes tender.
- Don’t stir in between.
- Open the lid now, increase the flame, stir fry it for a while.
- Switch off the flame now, take out in a serving bowl.
- Have it with Roti or Paratha.
- Mustard oil enhances the flavour of this dish.
- To make the saunf powder, dry roast it, cool it down, grind it to a fine powder.
