The ingredients needed to make Beef Biryani:
- Get 1 kg beef with bones
- Get 1 kg Basmati /sela rice
- Prepare 4 Potatoes
- Prepare 2 tbsp g.g paste
- Make ready 4 Tomatoes chopped
- Make ready 2 cup brown onion
- Make ready 1 cup ghee or oil
- Make ready 6 Green chillies chopped
- Prepare 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tbsp zeera powder
- Prepare 1 tsp nutmeg and mice(jaifal,jawatri)powder
- Make ready 1 Bay leaf
- Prepare 6 Green cardamom
- Make ready 2 black cardamom
- Get 3 star anise(badyan ke phool)
- Make ready 6-7 Cloves
- Take 6-7 Black pepper corn
- Take 1 inch piece cinnamon
- Take to taste Salt
- Take For layering
- Make ready 1/2 bunches Mint and coriander leaves
- Prepare 6 green chilies whole
- Make ready 6-7 Aaloo bukhara
- Take 1 cup Yogurt
- Take 1/2 tsp Zarda color
- Prepare 1/2 tsp kewra water
- Take 1 tbsp chat masala
- Make ready 1 tbsp biryani masala any brand
- Make ready 1 tsp garam masala powder
Instructions to make Beef Biryani:
- In a pan add half cup of ghee,add beef fry for 2 minutes.
- Now add g.g paste,tomatoes, bay leaf,green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper corn,star anise,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, zeera powder and salt and half brown onion and let it cook for 1 to 2 hours or until beef gets cook completely.
- In a bowl beat yogurt with kewra water and zarda color
- In a plate put dried plum mint and coriander leaves,tomatoes chat masala,garam masala,and biryani masala and set aside.
- Now boil rice with salt and black cumin,strain and set a side
- Now layer the biryani,
- In base beef masala,then pour over yogurt mixture,mint and coriander leaves, chat masala,garam masala,biryani masala,green chilli,brown onion and cooked rice over masala,sprinkle food color,fried onion and remaining ghee.
- Cover tightly and put on high flame for 5 to 6 minutes,then slow the heat and put it on dum for 12 to 15.
- Serve with raita and salad.
