Hey everyone, I hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, awara (tofu). One of my favorites. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

  1. Get 2 cups Suya beans
  2. Take Oil
  3. Take Maggi
  4. Take Egg
  5. Prepare Lime or tsamin kanti
  6. Get Onion
  7. Take Cucumber

Steps to make Awara (Tofu):
  1. First remove stones and other dirt from the suya beans and soak in water till they become soft and fluffy as in the picture below
  2. Grind and sieve,then pour in a clean pot and set on fire,allow to boil,then soak a little tsamiyan kanti and add to the sieved suya beans. Leave to boil for a few minutes till it forms itself in one place as shown below
  3. Sieve again so the water will be out,hang the sieve for like 20 mins so as the remaining water will pour gently, remove from the sieve and cut as desired,sprinkle some maggi on top
  4. Heat some oil,break 2 eggs and put the pieces of Awara in the egg then in the hot oil,turn the other side to cook if the other side has turned brown,continue with the rest till finished,slice some onion, cucumber, cabbage or lettuce to garnish

This marinated tofu is hands down the best tofu I've ever tasted! It's super flavorful, simple to make, and very versatile. I like to serve it on a bed of rice with stir fried vegetables.
