The ingredients needed to make Kala Jamun:
  1. Make ready 150 gm Khoya
  2. Get 60 gm maida
  3. Make ready 50 gm paneer
  4. Get 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  5. Prepare 2 tsp milk
  6. Take 250 gm sugar
  7. Take 2 cup water
  8. Get 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  9. Get 2-3 string kesar
  10. Get as required Desi ghee for frying
Instructions to make Kala Jamun:
  1. First grate khoya,add maida and grated paneer..Take this all in a bowl…
  2. Add 1 tsp baking soda and 2 tsp milk to it..knead it well for 10 to 15minutes…and make smooth dough
  3. Now with the help of palm make equal size of balls.
  4. Put pan on the flame and heat desi ghee in it….after some time put balls of mava into hot ghee..and fry it till it becomes dark brown
  5. On the other side in a pan take 2 cup water and 250 gm sugar in it.Stir it constantly to make syrup…boil it for 15 to 20 minutes. And make 1/2 string syrup.
  6. Add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder and 2-3 string of kesar to sugar syrup…stir it and mix it well
  7. Now take all balls in a bowl and pour hot sugar syrup into it…keep it aside.. After one hour balls became double in size…
  8. Delicious kala jam is ready to serve…
