- This is the burdock root. (gobo)
- Remove the Gobo's harshness with other side of knife.
- Shave the gobo with knife.
- Soak into water.
- Shave also the carrot.
- Soak into water in few minutes.
- Drain water.
- Put sesame oil in a frying pan and heat at medium high heat, cook few minutes.
- Add sake, sugar, soy sauce, cayenne pepper and simmer with low heat in 3 minutes or until Gobo is cooked.
