  2. In a vessel mix gram flour, dahi and water to make a thick batter of pouring consistency.
  3. Add all the ingredients (finely chopped) except oil.Mix the batter thoroughly.
  4. Heat a tawa on a medium flame.
  5. Spread 1 tsp Oil evenly on it.Spread half the batter evenly on the tawa.Add oik on the sides of the spread out batter.Allow it to cook.
  6. Let the Garari cook on both the sides till golden brown in colour.
  7. Garari can be served with tomato sauce, Sweet khajur chutney or green Coriander chutney.
  8. It is usually served for dinner as an accompaniment or at breakfast time.
  9. For the Thabak Variyun
  10. In a vessel mix gram flour, salt, dried fenugreek leaves, hing, Coriander and black pepper coarsely crushed and oil.
  11. Using very little water make a firm dough.
  12. With your finger tips make small dumplings on a plate from the prepared dough.
  13. Heat oil in a kadhai on medium flame. Fry the dumplings on medium flame till golden brown in colour.
  14. Serve these as snacks on festivals.Enjoy!
