  2. Take 1 cup Sago/Sabudana(washed & soaked in little water for 2 hours)

  3. Now for the stuffing heat a kadhai put ghee,when hot add jeera, after they splutter add the chopped ginger and curry leaves.Saute for a minute.
  4. Then add the boiled peeled and mashed potato and mix well.
  5. In the meantime powder the peanuts with the green chilli.
  6. Now add this powder to the kadhai,put salt and mix again.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and squeeze a few drops of lemon. Mix well and turn off the gas. Keep the mixture aside.
  8. Now make small balls of the kneaded Sabudana/Sago.Grease the Modak mould.Put the sago ball in it and gently press it,or else roll it to a small round shape like a Puri.
  9. Now add the stuffing and close the base of the Modak/momo with a small thin piece of the kneaded sago flour.
  10. Similarly make the remaining Momos.
  11. Then steam it 5 to 7 minutes.
  12. Serve with chutney of your choice. Enjoy these tasty momos on a fasting day.
