- Prepare 2 tbsp red chili powder (to taste)
- Make ready 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Get 1 & 1/2 tsp Salt (to taste)
- Get 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Get 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Prepare 1 piece mac
- Make ready 2 bay leaf
- Get 10 whole black pepper
- Make ready 10 cloves
- Make ready 1 black cardamom
- Get 3 green cardamom
- Get 1 tsp whole coriander
- Take 1 tsp white cumin seeds
- Take 1 star anise
- Take 1 tsp fenugreek
- Make ready For Tarka
- Take 1 cup Oil or ghee
- Make ready 1 large Onion thinly sliced
- Get For garnishing
- Prepare Fresh Coriander leaves chopped
- Prepare 1 lemon cut into the pieces
- Prepare fresh green chillies chopped
- Get Small piece of ginger Julian cut
- Prepare Chaat masala
Instructions to make 🥘🍲Shahi Haleem🍲🥘:
- First all the dry spices put into the grinder and make a powder foam set aside. - - Soak wheat, split chickpeas, split green gram, split red lentil, rice, white lentil, barely 4-5 hours or overnight. - - In a large pan add all these and water and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Mix well. Bring it to boil and the cover the lid and cook until all gets tender. Then blend it well hand blender or in a food processor.
- In a nother pan heat the oil add onion, fry until golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste. cook for a minute. then add beef, cook for 3-4 minutes. (cover the lid and cook until it gets dry) - - Then add all the dry spices powder (you have grind earlier) and cook for 3-4 minute, until oil separates, and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add 2 glass of water or as required, cover the lid and cook until beef fully gets tender. Mash it well with potato masher. - - Add cooked beef in lentil mixture and stir continuously for 1hr or 40-50 minutes.
- #Tarka: - - in a non-stick pan heat oil and then add onion, fry until golden brown. Take out the fried onion in paper towel and keep it aside. Pour oil on haleem mixture and cook for 15-20 minutes. - Serve with fried onion, ginger slices, green fresh coriander and chaat masala.
- #Tip: - You can also includes bones soup add extra taste and flavor to the haleem.
