The ingredients needed to make Sweet & Sour Chicken:
  1. Take 1 chopped onion
  2. Get 2 Chicken Breasts cubed
  3. Get 3 rounded tsp Cornflour
  4. Get 1 tbsp light Soy Sauce
  5. Take 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  7. Get 1 tin pineapple rings or pieces (about 400gms)
Steps to make Sweet & Sour Chicken:
  1. Fry chopped onion in a lighty oiled frying pan til soft.
  2. Prepare cornflour, adding Soya Sauce, Rice Vinegar and Sesame Oil. Add chicken to onions. Add cornflour mixture to the chicken and onion stiring quickly to ensure all is covered.
  3. Add the pineapple juice and stir thoroughly. Juices should thicken. Cut the pinapple rings into pieces and add to chicken and stir thoroughly. Cover and continue simmering until chicken is cooked. About 10mins more.
  4. I serve with boiled Tilda wholegrain rice with 1 tbsp of each Soya Sauce & Sesame Oil added after rice is cooked.
