Steps to make Gobi Manchurian:
- Mix the batter ingredients to get a slightly loose batter
- Coat each floret with the batter and deep fry in the oil
- Drain on some kitchen towel and set aside
- To make the sauce, fry the onions, green chillies, garlic and the capsicum till the onions are golden brown
- Next add the liquid: tomato sauce, soy sauce and vinegar
- Turn the heat to low and fry for a minute
- Pour the cornflour mixture and mix until the sauce thickens
- If needed add some salt
- Add the fried florets to the sauce and toss gently
- Garnish with some fresh coriander leaves or spring onions or us a combination of both like I did
- Serve hot!
