  4. Heat sufficient oil in a wok. Keep the flame to medium.
  5. Wet your fingers and scoop a lemon sized ball of batter. Give it a round shape and make a small hole in the centre with your thumb.
  6. Gently slide the vada into the hot oil. Slide few more vadas likewise and fry them till they turn golden and crisp from all sides. Drain them on kitchen tissue to remove excess oil.
  7. Follow the process until all the batter is used up.
  8. Serve the Medu Vada hot or warm with sambar and coconut chutney.
