- Make ready 1 cup Chanadal
- Make ready 1 big onion chopped
- Prepare 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Prepare 1 bunch Keerai (washed and chopped)
- Prepare 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- Get 1 tsp chilli flakes(optional)
- Prepare Pinch hing
- Take as required Salt
- Get as required Oil to deep fry
Steps to make Keerai Vadai:
- Soak the Chanadal for 3hours and grind them coarsely.
- Into the coarsely grounded Chanadal, add in the cumin seeds, chopped onions, chilli powder, chilli flakes, Salt, hing. Mix everything well.
- Then add the chopped Keerai. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a kadai, take a small portion of the mixture, roll using your palm and press using your palm to make a vadai. Drop the vadai into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Hot Keerai vadai is ready to serve. Enjoy with Hot coffee or tea.
