The ingredients needed to make Sheer Kurma:
  1. Take 2 tbsp ghee
  2. Prepare 10 chopped almonds
  3. Take 10 chopped pistachio
  4. Make ready 10 golden raisins
  5. Take 5 chopped dried dates (kharek)
  6. Get 1 cup Seviyan (broken vermicelli)
  7. Take 1 litre milk
  8. Make ready 200 mk evaporated milk
  9. Take 4 tbsp sugar
Instructions to make Sheer Kurma:
  1. Heat ghee in a pot. Once hot, add the chopped nuts, raisins and Kharak. - Cook for 1-2 minutes until the nuts are fragrant and turn golden brown. Remove them from pot and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the seviyan, roast it for 2-3 mins until it is light gold colour.
  3. Add milk +evaporated milk into the pan and stir. Let it boil (make sure to stir it often so vermicelli doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot)
  4. Once the milk is boiling, lower the heat and continue boiling for another 5-7 mins - Milk will start thickening. Add sugar and mix.
  5. Add the fried nuts and mix.
  6. Cook for 2-3 more minutes on low heat. Enjoy! You can have it hot or cold! Your choice🥰. If its too thick, add more milk and adjust consistency up to your liking.
