- Make ready 6 tbsp oil
- Get 1/2 cup tomato puree
- Take 1/2 cup curd
Serve hot with phulkas or can be had as is. String and boil the cluster beans before use. Now add in the cluster beans, washed and chopped. This helps to make the curry thick in consistency.
Instructions to make Cluster(guvara) beans dhokli curry:
- For dhokli
- Mix 1 cup gram flour and 1/2 cup water together. They shouldn't be any lumps.
- Mix curd and water very well and add salt. Grind it
- Heat oil in a deep pot, add asafoetida, mustard and cumin seeds.
- When it crackles add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and chilli flakes and green chilli and garlic paste. Mix well then add the curd mixture and cook for 4 minutes.
- Add gram flour mixture and mix for 2 minutes and then add 2 tsp oill
- Let it cook for 5 to 10 minutes. When the texture is smooth. Turn off the gas.
- Take a plate apply oil and then add the dhokli mixture and spread it well without leaving any space in the plate. Then apply oil on top.
- Keep it aside. When has cool down cut the dhokli in diamond shapes.
- For clusters beans
- Heat oil in a cooker add asafoetida, mustard and cumin seeds.
- When it crackles add cluster beans. Cook for a while.
- Add the spices and mint chutney. Cook for a while.
- Add a bit of water and curd. Mix well.
- Cook in the cooker until 3 whistles are blown.
- Cluster beans and dhokli curry
- Then mix them both together and serve it with rice or roti.
