- Add 2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp red chilli powder. Let this cook with closed lid for at least 20 mins or till everything is soft enough to be blended easily.
- Remove this cooked mix from gas and using a hand blender, blend it into a puree. Keep this aside.
- In another vessel, add some ghee or oil. Then add pinch of asafeotida, 1-2 bay leaves, 2 whole cardamoms (optional). Then add the puree to this. Let it cook for a minute.
- Now add cumin powder, cardamom powder, salt, shahi paneer Masala, sugar and mix it all well. Cook it for 5 mins.
- Add fresh cream and again cook it in closed lid. Finally add cut paneer cubes and mix it all well. Let this cook for another 5 mins.
- Garnish with kasoori methi or coriander leaves and serve with parantha/naan/chapati
