  8. Take a pan add 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 1 chopped onion.. and 1 chopped potato.
  9. Stir it till onion is half cooked..
  10. Add red chilli powder salt and 1 tsp sambhar masala..
  11. Add dal and mix it well..
  12. Cook the lentils for 10 minutes..
  13. Ready to serve..
