Steps to make Chicken Dahiwala:
- Clean and wash chicken with drinking water and keep it aside. Take a mixer jar add 3 onion and make a paste and keep aside. Chopped 1 onion into small pieces and keep aside.
- Take one big bowl add curd, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon chicken curry masala, salt and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Keep one kadhai on flame add oil let it warm add cumin seeds and tej patta roast little and 1 finely chopped onion and fry till golden brown now add onion paste, remaining ginger garlic paste fry till raw smell disappear now add green chilli paste, red chilli powder, dry coriander and cumin seeds powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder mix altogether and immediately add tomato puree roast till mixture becomes dry. Now add chicken mixture and saute add little water and salt.
- Cover and cook until chicken becomes tender. Once chicken cooked add hot water and adjust consistency as per choice of curry. Now add remaining chicken curry masala and black pepper powder and coriander leaves again mix well cover and cook till masala absorbs into the chicken. Now tasty chicken dahiwala is ready to serve. Serve with rice or roti.
