- Wash and soak kadala overnight or for 6-7 hours.

- Once the pressure is released, open the cooker.
- Drain the excess water from kadala and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add urad dal, red chilli, green chilli, coconut pieces, hing and curry leaves.
- Saute for a minute and add the cooked kadala.
- Mix well for 2-3 minutes until it is well coated with the seasoning.
- Switch off the flame.
- Now the yummy sundal is ready……
