- Wash and soak chickpeas overnight or for 6-7 hours.
- Pressure cook with a little water and salt for 4 to 5 whistles.
- Once the pressure is released, open the cooker.
- Drain the excess water from chickpeas and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add ginger, green chilli, hing and curry leaves.
- Saute for a minute and add the cooked chickpeas.
- Add grated coconut and mix well for 2-3 minutes until it is well coated with the seasoning.
- Switch off the flame. Pour drop of coconut oil to the sundal.
- Now the yummy sundal is ready……
