Making Sabudana Pakoda: Take drained sabudana in a large bowl. Add crushed peanuts, clove-cinnamon powder, rock salt, grated ginger, green chilies, cashew nuts and raisins. There was a time I never use to like Parwal (parval) aloo or patal sabzi as we call it but now I like to eat Parwal Aloo perhaps due to the fact that we don't get. Sabudana pakoda is a famous delicacy of Maharashtra.

Instructions to make Sabudana aloo pakoda:
  1. Wash sabudana properly and Soak it for 2 hours.
  2. Roast peanuts and grind it finely. Now take boiled potatoes in a bowl add salt, red chilli poder, dry mango powder, coriander seeds, green chilli and at last soaked and strained sabudana and mixed all ingredients well
  3. In a pan heat the oil for frying at medium flame and side by side take some oil in your palm and make small balls of mixture.
  4. When oil get hot slides the balls in the pan one by one. Keep them out from the oil when balls turn to brown.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy with your family. My little baby couldn't stop himself to eat

It's very easy to make and is delicious to eat. You can even shallow fry them instead of deep frying them to cut down some calorie. Sabudana Pakodas or Sabudana Vadas are one of the most popularly consumed snacks in Maharashtra. They are also savoured during fasts. Tapioca or sabudana is light, fluffy and bouncy.
