These fried vadas (fritters) are made with sabudana (sago) and require only a handful of ingredients. Steps to make Sabudana Vada:
  1. Wash n soak sahi seeds for 4-5 hours.
  2. After 5 hours drain the excess water.sago seeds will be puffed up by then.
  3. In a bowl, add sago seeds, peanuts,mashed potatoes,coriander leaves, Ginger,green chilly and all the dry masala.
  4. Mix it well to form a dough.
  5. Take a lemon size ball out of this dough. Roll it in a circle n then slightly flatten it to shape it like cutlet.
  6. Like this, prepare all the vadas.
  7. Now heat oil in a pan for frying.
  8. When the oil is hot enough fry these vadas from both sides.
  9. Strain it on a tissue paper.
  10. Serve it with green chutney.
  11. You can even shallow fry it if you are health freak!
