Instructions to make Paneer Dum Biryani:
  1. PANEER DUM BIRYANI RICE PREPARATION: - firstly, we take a large pan, take 7 cup water. - add spices like 1tbs cardamom powder, cloves, 1 inch cinnamon, 2 bay leaf,jeera and pepper. also add salt to taste 1tsp oil. Then boil it.after whennwater is boiling add in basmati rice and stir well. make sure to soak rice for at least 20 minutes.boil for rice is half cooked. drain off the rice and keep aside.

MARINATION PANEER: - firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder and 2 tbsp tandoori masala, 2 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp salt. - whisk and combine well making sure the spices are well combined.then add paneer cubes and square shape cut capsicum.mix gently making sure everything is combined well. - cover and marinate for 1 hour in freeze.
  3. Cutting the onion finely and then its deep frybj
  4. PANEER BIRYANI PREPARATION: - Now take in a large pan, heat oil and ghee.saute bay leaf, 1 star anise, 1 black cardamom, 1 mace, 1tbs cardamom powder and 1 tsp shah jeera.now add chopped onion and saute until it turns golden brown.then also add chopped tomato, green chilli and saute until it turns soft and mushy.add in marinated paneer, and capsicum, black pepper and curd and saute well.saute until the oil separates from sides.
  5. Now spread prepared rice uniformly. also top with fried onion.
  6. Then sprinkle pinch tandoori masala, saffron milk, ghee and 1/4cup water.cover with aluminium foil and close the lid.
  7. Simmer for 20 minutes - finally, enjoy paneer dum biryani with raita and slices of onion on the occasions of EID festival.
