  5. Get 1 1/2 tsps Chili Powder Red

  7. Prepare 3 tbsps Sugar Powdered
  8. Make ready 1 cup chana dal dal/daria Dal {phutanyachi (Daria)
  9. Take 1 cup peanuts Roasted
  10. Take 2 - 3 tbsps Oil {you can also use olive oil)
Steps to make Churmura Chivda and Lots of Clicks!:
  1. In a large bowl remove the puffed rice, in another heavy bottom pan make the phodni/tadka.
  2. For the phodni/tadka – heat the pan; add 3 tbsp oil, turmeric powder (haldi), red chilli powder and the torn curry leaves.
  3. Sauté for just a min till the curry leaves turn crispy, remove the pan from heat.
  4. Saute the the green chilies, curry leaves, with oil, red chili powder and turmeric (haldi)
  5. Add the roasted peanuts and roasted chana dal to the above phodni/tadka and mix thoroughly (the pan is removed from heat)
  6. Add peanuts and roasted chana dal
  7. Now add this mixture to the puffed rice and mix, add salt and sugar, and adjust the seasoning as per taste.
  8. To keep the puffed rice chivda crispy, store it in an air tight container.
  9. Mix everything and store in an airtight container.
