  1. Soak the rice in water for about an hour.
  2. Now take a vessel and add boil potato, grated paneer, chopped 1 green chilli, 1tbsp corn flour.
  3. Add salt to taste, black pepper and mix well.
  4. Now take little oil in hand and make kofta balls. Cover the balls in dry cornflour.
  5. Now take appam pan and drizzle little oil in it. Cook the balls on all side nicely in appam pan until balls are crispy.
  6. If you want you can also fry these balls. The previous step is for making it in healthy way.
  7. Keep these balls aside amd start preparing for gravy.
  8. Take a pan and heat little oil.
  9. Add cloves, cardamom, tej oatta, cumin seeds,chopped green chillies.
  10. Add onion and little salt in it.
  11. When onion becomes translucent,add tomatoes and cashew nut.
  12. Keep cooking until tomatoes are soft and mashy.
  13. Now turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
  14. Once it is cool, transfer it in mixer and grind it into fine paste. Add little water as needed.
  15. Filter this paste in a vessel with the help of chhanni so that any granule part is removed and smooth gravy comes out
  16. Again add little oil in the pan and add 1 tsp red chilli powder and add tgis gravy instanty.
  17. After mixing you will see a nice colour is added due to previous step. Now add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, black pepper to taste and mix well.
  18. Cook untill gravy is cooked well and it leaves oil from it's side. At this stage add salt to taste and 2 tsp curd.
  19. Add little water and mix and let it boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  20. For jeera rice, boil the rice and heat little ghee in a pan.
  21. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and 1/2 cup of roughly chopped coriander leaves.
  22. Add salt to taste and black pepper to taste.
  23. Add rice in it and mix well. Cook it for two minutes.
  24. Tadaaaaa… Evrything is ready…now take a plate and placed rice in it. Take a katori, add kofta balls and then add gravy in it.
