- Add jeera powder to the Raagi flour and mix well.Add boiling water and mix well until a malleable dough forms.
- Grease oil in the Stringhopper's press and fill the press with sufficient dough.
- Grease oil in Stringhopper's steamer plate and press the dough. Steam for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Follow the same method for Rice Stringhopper's too.
- For making Sodhi (Vegetable stew). Boil all the vegetables together. Grate 1 coconut and press first milk and second milk separately.
- In a pan add oil on medium heat. Add mustard seeds,cumin and curry leaves to it.Let it splutter.
- Add boiled vegetables and second pressed coconut milk.Let it boil for 2 minutes.
- Now add first milk to it and immediately switch off the flame. Add a dash of lemon juice or according to taste.Simple healthy Sodhi is ready.
- For making Coconut milk. Grate coconut and add water and grind in mixer grinder. Press first milk and keep it aside.
- Add more water and grind second time.Press the second milk and mix with the first milk. Add palm sugar it sugar and crushed cardamom and mix well. Healthy coconut milk is ready.
