  2. Prepare 100 g peanuts
  3. Prepare 100 g besan sev

  7. Take 1/2 tbsp salt
  8. Take 2 tbsp oil
  9. Make ready 12 red chillies
  10. Get 1 tsp red chilli powder

Poha Chivda is quick, spicy, nutty and crunchy Indian snack made with flatten (beaten) rice. It was LaxmiNarayan Best chivda and I must say, it was indeed the best chivda I have ever had. The poha was light, airy and crisp. This chivda is also known as aval chivda.

Steps to make Chivda:
  1. Deep fry the poha and keep it aside.
  2. In a kadai, heat up the oil and add red chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Now add the peanuts and roast it on low flame till roasted properly.
  4. Now add the salt,sugar, turmeric and chilli powder and mix it properly.
  5. Now add the sev and mix it.
  6. Now add the fried poha to it and turn the gas off and mix properly.
  7. Let it cool completely. Store it in airtight container.
