  10. When removed from tin carefully turn the cake upside down (so you have a flat top) then slice the cake in half and spread one side with the strawberry jam
  11. Now make the butter cream
  12. Place the icing sugar and butter into a bowl and wisk together, Add 2 tsp of Vanilla extract and wisk again.
  13. Add the Double cream and whip until it is stiff.
  14. Spread the buttercream on the other cake layer and sandwich both cakes together
  15. PLACE THE CAKE ONTO A CAKE BOARD : You can Spread the remainer butter cream on to the top and sides of the cake.
