  6. OK now that your pasta is done use a slotted spoon and remove your pasta. Place into A large serving dish or individual bowls however you wish to serve it. Poor or spoon portion size sauce over your pasta. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and the fresh parsley.

Sprinkle with parmesan and the remaining nuts and basil, if using. Cook fettuccine according to package directions. While pasta is cooking prepare sauce. Pour sauce over fettuccine and mix well. Serve immediately with parmesan cheese on the side, if desired.
