The ingredients needed to make Veg Kathi Roll:

  2. Take 1/4 cup wheat flour
  3. Make ready 1/4 cup maida
  4. Make ready 1 tbsp oil

  8. Prepare 1/4 cup chopped cabbage
  9. Make ready 1/4 cup chopped green capsicum
  10. Take 1/2 cup paneer pieces
  11. Make ready 1 medium tomato chopped
  12. Make ready 2 tbsp oil
  13. Make ready 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Take 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Prepare 1/8 tsp crushed coriander seeds
  16. Prepare 1/8 tsp coriander powder
  17. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  18. Take 1/2 tsp green chillies ginger paste
  19. Make ready 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  20. Get to taste Salt
  21. Prepare 2 tbsp grated cheese
  22. Prepare 1 tbsp green chutney
  23. Take as required Tomato sauce
Steps to make Veg Kathi Roll:
  1. In mixing bowl add both flours,oil,salt mix and bind into soft dough with lukewarm water. Keep cover for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a kadhai add heat 1 tbsp oil add paneer pieces, saute for 2 mins, remove in a bowl. Add chopped cabbage and capsicum pieces saute for 1 min and remove in bowl. Now add and heat 1 tbsp oil add cumin seeds, as it splutter add turmeric powder, coriander seeds, coriander powder,red chilli powder, saute for 1 min. Add chopped tomato and cook till tender. Add sauted cabbage, capsicum, paneer pieces, chopped coriander leaves and salt..mix well. Off the flame. Add grated cheese and remove in a bowl.
  3. Knead the dough. Make two equal portions../ balls. Roll each ball into 8-10 inch thin roti. Dry Roast these Rotis on tawa on both sides, taking care the roasted roti is soft and not crisp.
  4. Preparation of Kathi Roll.Place one roasted roti on wooden board. Spread 1/2 tbsp green chutney all over. Place half of stuffing mixture in the centre as shown.
  5. Fold on opposite sides of roti where stuffing part is there (see in photo).
  6. Now fold on other opposite sides to make tight roll. Similarly prepare another Kathi Roll.
  7. Heat tawa,grease with oil, place prepared Kathi roll..warm them on both sides.
  8. Serve Delicious Veggie Kathi Roll with tomato sauce.
