The ingredients needed to make Cone Dosa:
- Prepare 2 cups rice
- Make ready 1/2 cup urad dal
- Get 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- Make ready to taste salt
Steps to make Cone Dosa:
- Soak the rice, dal and fenugreek seeds in water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Wash them properly and grind them to a smooth batter.
- Leave the batter to ferment for about 6 hours.
- Now add salt to your taste and the batter is ready to make dosa.
- Heat the dosa pan/tawa. Pour a ladleful of batter on to it and spread it on a circular shape with the ladle. Drizzle with oil or ghee all over it and allow the dosa to cook on a medium flame until golden brown and crisp.
- Once the dosa is cooked, make a slit in the dosa from it's centre to the edge with a knife or pizza cutter. Keep the flame low. Using your hands carefully roll the dosa into a cone.Repeat the process for rest of the batter to make cone dosa.
- Now serve it hot with any chutney or sambar.
