  15. Take 1/2 tsp Dry Mango powder or Amchur
  16. Prepare 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  17. Prepare 1 tsp Chat Masala
  18. Get 1 small bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped
  19. Get 2-3 tbsp Oil for shallow frying
  20. Take 1/2 cup Sev
  21. Get 1/2 cup Boondi
  22. Get 1/2 cup Curd beaten
  23. Take 1/2 cup Dates Chutney
  24. Get 1/2 cup Peanuts roasted
  25. Make ready 1 tsp Chat Masala
  26. Get 1 tbsp Lemon juice
Steps to make Lobia Ragda Pattice:
  1. Soak Beans overnight for the best results. Boil with a little Salt until done. Do not over boil them. They get done very quickly. Keep aside. In a pan, heat Oil and add Asafoetida, Green chillies and chopped Onion. Saute them nicely until done. Now add the rest of the ingredients mentioned under it's making. Add boiled Beans to it. Cover and simmer for two more minutes.
  2. For the Potato Patties, mix everything well and shape into round tikkis or patties. Shallow fry few at a time in batches on a low heat. Keep them aside after all get done.
  3. For serving, place 2 patties on a plate. Spoon about 2-3 ladleful of the Black Eyed Beans Ragda on them. Further top up with Chutneys and other ingredients whatever are handy. Serve immediately with some generous sprinkle of Chat Masala. Lemon juice can be squeezed on top or else add some dry Anardana powder too. Or serve it just like that as we have already used Dry Mango powder or Amchur liberally. Enjoy!
