Instructions to make Chocolate Cake:
  1. Take milk add vinegar and serve aside for 10 minutes. Dissolve coffee powder in hot water. Grease and dust a cake pan with butter and flour. Set aside.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients except sugar. Mix well.
  3. Add sugar, buttermilk and coffee decoction. Mix well with spatula using cut and fold method.
  4. Add vanilla essence and melted butter.
  5. Crack open the eggs in a separate bowl and beat in high speed until fluffy.
  6. Add the eggs to the batter and fold gently.
  7. Pour into the cake pan and tap twice to remove any air bubbles.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180°C. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Demould on to a plate. Dust sugar powder and top with cherries.
  10. Slice and drizzle some chocolate syrup and serve.
