Instructions to make Sausage and peppers:
- Start by browning the sausage in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Pre heat oven to 350°
- Cut the onion and peppers into chunks (2-3 inch squares)
- Combine onion, peppers, garlic, oil and spice in a glass baking dish. Mix well to coat everything in oil and spice.
- Once sausage is brown, transfer to a plate and cut them each in half.
- Spread sausage around on top of the onions and peppers and place in the oven middle rack.
- Bake uncovered for 60-80 minutes stirring every 20 minutes.
- (Optional) If you are adding the vinegar, add it 20 minutes before taking the sausage and peppers out of the oven.
- Serve it hot with fresh Italian rolls or along with a pasta dish or rice.
